GREEN PASS SERVICE
At its meeting on 16 September 2021, the Council of Ministers approved a decree law extending the green pass obligation and strengthening the screening system in order to ensure the safe performance of any professional activity.
As stated in press release No. 36 of the Council of Ministers, the extension of the green pass mainly refers to the areas of public and private employment.
In addition, the provision also concerns persons who, in any capacity, carry out training, work or voluntary activities in such places, 'also on the basis of external contracts'.
The main provisions, in summary, report the obligation to possess and exhibit the Covid-19 green certification to access workplaces in the period from 15 October to 31 December 2021 (end of the state of emergency).

The above-mentioned decree law provides for specific sanctions for all those
who, whether in the public or private sector, are not in possession of a green pass (or communicate that they are not) when accessing workplaces.
