CONSTRUCTION SITE SAFETY SURVEILLANCE
At Sogest Italia, we provide surveillance services for the security of construction sites both at night and during the day. This is a passive service that can also be performed by unarmed guards, who do not have the status of sworn security guards. These guards guard and monitor the assets within the site, checking the quantities of material on the site (and in particular in the warehouses) and making sure that all work activities are carried out in full regularity.
In the event of an incident, both sworn and unarmed security guards promptly alert the fire service.
Specialised access control personnel
Especially on open construction sites, our employees also monitor incoming and outgoing vehicles, requesting (if authorised) accompanying documents from the drivers of the vehicles.
Among the activities we perform is also the control during the loading and unloading of goods: our staff checks that the raw materials, necessary for the site's activities, are unloaded in the correct manner and that all raw materials and other materials mentioned in the Transport Document are deposited on site.

Construction sites are, unfortunately, a constant target for criminals, who may attempt to steal machinery or vandalise sites close to completion or delivery. This is why we always advise our customers to securely lock up all machinery and tools at night and to let us know which areas are problematic on site.

During both day and night hours, our guards maintain strict access control and ensure that no unauthorised visitors access the site.
Night is undoubtedly the time that lends itself most to intrusion and theft since, in most cases, work is suspended and construction sites are closed.
For this reason, armed Special Guard Guards (GPG) are deployed to guard the site. If they are faced with actual attempts at theft or damage, the GPGs must immediately alert the police and attempt to dissuade the offender caught in the act.
In addition, during night-time hours, our private security guard activity for securing construction sites is complemented by video surveillance with monitoring from the operations centre, in order to keep cameras and alarm systems under constant surveillance.
